Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the evolution of Corteva Agriscience’s research capabilities and modernized research ecosystem
Define and execute a digital roadmap for agricultural research
Lead the process of defining investment in and deployment of digital technologies
Connect scientific requirements with technical execution across the global organization
Develop and implement a unified digital strategy covering data architecture, software tools, sensors, automation, advanced analytics, and AI
Liaise between Crop Health Integrated Field Science, Biology Research & Development, IT, and Digital teams
Ensure technology investments are scalable, integrated, and science-led
Direct and empower a significant multidisciplinary team developing, deploying, and supporting research technology solutions
Drive digital excellence and a shared vision for the “Field & Lab of the Future”
Align modernization strategy with broader corporate digital initiatives and the needs of biological and agricultural research

Requirements

What you’ll need

Extensive leadership experience in R&D, AgTech, or a related high-tech field, focused on digital transformation or research technology
Proven track record managing large, multidisciplinary teams
Experience leading complex, multi-year strategic initiatives
Exceptional ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Ability to influence senior leadership through partnership
Deep understanding of agricultural R&D environments
Knowledge of automation, IoT, data engineering, and machine learning
Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural, Engineering, or Digital Science field required
PhD or Master’s highly preferred
