About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Collect data and observations of commercial and pre-commercial seed products in Corteva IMPACT and on-farm demonstration trials
  • Provide performance evaluations of seed products and related technologies
  • Understand and communicate product gaps and needs of the ISCs in your region
  • Represent your region and ISCs in the product lifecycle, advancement, and commercialization process
  • Lead the product training effort for your region
  • Communicate product characteristics, positioning, and management practices to ISC owners, managers and sales staff
  • Advise and coach ISCs during the annual demand/crop planning process
  • Facilitate the message of AVI’s Maximum Profit System of crop management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Master’s Degree in Agronomy or a similar discipline is preferred
  • Five years of agricultural product management, sales and/or agronomy experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of crop production practices
  • Seed product and/or agronomic testing and evaluation
  • Demonstrated skills in teaching, training and public speaking
  • Conflict resolution and handling objections
  • Using Microsoft Powerpoint, Excel, and other computer software
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
