About the role
- Responsible for procurement strategy implementation.
- Managing sourcing contracts and activities related to External Manufacturing Synthesis category.
- Ensuring alignment with Corteva’s overall market approach.
- Negotiating, drafting, and preparing contract agreements.
- Overseeing Strategic Sourcing for external manufacturing sources of supply.
- Supporting the Regional Teams in the Execution of contractual obligations.
- Analyzing cost drivers and contractual terms.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in direct procurement, strategic sourcing, and supplier negotiations.
- Strong knowledge of sourcing and logistics best practices, policies and legal contracting.
- Experience and knowledge of chemical markets (specifically ag synthesis would be a plus).
- Strategic thinking capability and extensive negotiations experience.
- Strong influence skills and team building skills.
- Demonstrated ability to generate savings and benefits.
- High ethical standards.
- Ability to work in a highly Matrixed Organization.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
