About the role

  • Lead the preparation of the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans
  • Analyze financial trends, performance metrics, and key business drivers to provide accurate forecasts
  • Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and dashboards
  • Analyze variances between actual performance and budget/forecast, identifying key drivers and actionable insights
  • Partner with business leaders to evaluate financial implications of strategic decisions
  • Provide financial modeling and decision support for business cases, investment opportunities, and strategic initiatives
  • Develop KPIs and metrics to track financial and operational performance
  • Support the leadership team in scenario planning, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies
  • Optimize financial planning and reporting processes, leveraging tools and systems to improve efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies
  • Act as a financial business partner to various departments, providing insights and recommendations

Requirements

  • 10-16 years’ experience in finance
  • Prefered with at least 1-3 years experience in a leadership position with people responsibilities
  • Experience in Agriculture/Pharma, Technology or FMCG industries will be an advantage
  • Accounting/Finance Degree with a professional qualification in accounting / analysis or MBA Finance
  • Deep understanding of Share Holder Value creation and elements of ROIC
  • Expert in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must have worked in an ERP environment – e.g. SAP, Oracle
  • Must be capable and willing to work in an unstructured environment typically associated with start-ups / new companies
  • A high level of Ethics, Compliance and Fiduciary mindset along with an attitude of collaboration, Respect for People, Inclusion, Diversity & Equity and safety #LI-OB1
