About the role
- Lead the preparation of the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans
- Analyze financial trends, performance metrics, and key business drivers to provide accurate forecasts
- Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and dashboards
- Analyze variances between actual performance and budget/forecast, identifying key drivers and actionable insights
- Partner with business leaders to evaluate financial implications of strategic decisions
- Provide financial modeling and decision support for business cases, investment opportunities, and strategic initiatives
- Develop KPIs and metrics to track financial and operational performance
- Support the leadership team in scenario planning, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies
- Optimize financial planning and reporting processes, leveraging tools and systems to improve efficiency
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies
- Act as a financial business partner to various departments, providing insights and recommendations
Requirements
- 10-16 years’ experience in finance
- Prefered with at least 1-3 years experience in a leadership position with people responsibilities
- Experience in Agriculture/Pharma, Technology or FMCG industries will be an advantage
- Accounting/Finance Degree with a professional qualification in accounting / analysis or MBA Finance
- Deep understanding of Share Holder Value creation and elements of ROIC
- Expert in Microsoft Office Suite
- Must have worked in an ERP environment – e.g. SAP, Oracle
- Must be capable and willing to work in an unstructured environment typically associated with start-ups / new companies
