About the role
- IP Coding Specialists are an important part of the Team at CorroHealth.
- The Coding Team Member will provide CPT, HCPCS and ICD-10-CM coding for 4 or more specialties for one or more clients, facility, or multiple facilities or clients.
- Perform accurate analysis of medical records to obtain necessary information for the appropriate sequencing and assignment of ICD-10-CM and PCS codes.
- Communicate with clients in a professional manner that fosters an excellent working relationship to support the company and its business interests.
- Must maintain quality and productivity standards.
Requirements
- Requires experience in Level 1 Trauma setting for IP coding
- Requires CCS certification
- Minimum 2+ yrs experience
- Must have advanced working knowledge and experience with systems such as EMR, Billing, etc
- Must be proficient in Microsoft programs like Excel and Outlook.
- Must have current coding materials such as CPT and ICD-10-CM coding references.
