About the role
- Delivering high-quality, live, virtual instruction and partnering with company personnel to drive exceptional learning outcomes
- Conducting large synchronous online lectures on technical content for 100 to 8,000+ diverse learners
- Preparing and leading virtual classroom sessions
- Overseeing Q&A management and monitoring class engagement dynamics
- Collaborating with operations personnel for smooth program delivery
- Flexibly contributing to classes during weekdays and/or weekends
- Assisting in lesson design, development, and improvement
Requirements
- A Senior Engineer or Tech Lead who thrives on 'live-fire' debugging and mentoring rather than prepared lectures
- Comfortably running gamified 'Missions' or 'Simulations'
- Experience with training total beginners and maintaining strong learner engagement
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, SQL, Linux
- Highly knowledgeable in best engineering practices and heuristics
- Experience with Gemini CLI and Google AI Studio
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Cloudflare, and Google Cloud Run is a plus
- GitHub Foundations (GH-900) and/or OpenEDG JS Institute — JSE certification is an asset
