About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Train client accounting staff on KeyStone functionality.
Support credit unions in balancing of clearing/suspense accounts.
Build financial statements.
Serve as a remote resource, on-site as needed during conversion week.
Work with the client and mentor to understand existing functionality and processes.
Consult with clients to configure existing processes to KeyStone.
Prepare the client for the GL conversion process.
Assist client through the conversion process and provide training and support during and post-conversion.
Work with clients on table mapping to the new GL chart of Accounts, GL Accrual types, A/P Vendors, Invoice Types, Work Queues.
Provide guidance in setting up batch jobs for all GL related functions.
Understand and practice basic concepts of database setup requiring GL Information.
Train via Web-ex on KeyStone’s General Ledger product.
Travel on-site for GL Conversion and support as needed.
Maintain effective communication with clients and team members throughout the conversion process.
Identify potential issues and ensure proper resolution.

Requirements

What you’ll need

1 year of related experience.
Credit Union/Banking experience is preferred.
A college degree in accounting preferred or multi-craft skills acquired through extensive on-the-job training or apprenticeship programs or in-depth industry and job specific technical skills acquired through a combination of formal instruction and on-the-job training.
