About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for planning, organizing, monitoring, and managing credit union core software conversions and other credit union information technology projects through completion.
  • Ensures projects meet or exceed technical specifications, customer requirements, policies, budgets, and deadlines.
  • Assembles, directs, coordinates, and assigns responsibilities to project team members.
  • Carries out these responsibilities with guidance from management as needed.
  • Ensures Management is well informed of area activities and potential risks, issues, and concerns.
  • Assists with administrative support on Corelation initiatives.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Lead the planning and implementation of projects.
  • Develop conversion project plans, plan and schedule conversion timelines.
  • Track project deliverables using appropriate tools.
  • Provide support and direction to project teams.
  • Work independently in a dynamic environment under tight deadlines, prioritizing multiple tasks and resolving issues.
  • Travel to client sites for project initiation and conversion.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Two to four years of related experience required.
  • Two to four years of project management experience preferred.
  • One to two years of credit union, banking or financial technology experience preferred.
  • A college degree (non-technical discipline) or (2) multi-craft skills acquired through extensive on-the-job training or apprenticeship programs or (3) in-depth industry and job-specific technical skills acquired through a combination of formal instruction and on-the-job training.
  • PMP certification preferred.
