About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the main liaison between the Client, CTM and its global network of agency partners for multinational and global agreements
- Advocate for client needs and facilitate achievement of multinational goals with internal CTM departments and member agency partners
- Create and maintain measurable business plans and strategic travel management programs for corporate clients
- Build value-based partnerships and identify and execute revenue growth opportunities
- Translate data into strategic actions and lead KPI/SLA performance reviews
- Manage account budgets, forecasts, profitability, contractual terms, payments and revenue alignment
- Drive process improvements and efficiencies to optimize program performance and client value
- Analyze customer survey feedback and implement improvements to enhance satisfaction, retention and account growth
- Identify cost and efficiency improvements through management information analysis and client/shareholder dialogue
- Monitor service-level agreements and introduce quality performance metrics where appropriate
- Liaise with international CTM and agency partner departments to deliver consistent products and services
- Collaborate with Sales, Technology and Operations across business lines and regions
- Plan and attend client implementation and review meetings
- Identify commercial incentive opportunities and coordinate supplier meetings
- Review and recommend improvements to client travel policies and buying procedures
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of management information
- Maintain market and competitor awareness and brief clients on industry developments
- Lead, coach, develop and engage direct and/or indirect reports where applicable
- Domestic travel and occasional short-notice travel are required
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in related field or relevant experience
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the multinational business travel sector
- Proven track record of multinational account management success in the business travel industry
- Experience in client relationship management, consultative selling, financial analysis, performance reporting and process optimization
- Travel management strategy, financial/account management, KPI/SLA frameworks and continuous improvement knowledge
- Ability to build commercial relationships with clients, shareholders and suppliers and communicate at all levels
- Excellent negotiating skills and experience setting up and monitoring supplier deals on behalf of clients
- Knowledge of Self Booking Tools, MI Reporting and Quality control systems
- Demonstrated project management skills, including implementation, forecasting and time management
- Availability for conference calls outside normal business hours due to international time zones
- Ability to travel often at short notice and for periods at a time
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to do basic math and read and interpret information
- Attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize simultaneous requests and work independently and as part of a team
- Appropriate professional written and verbal communication
- Fluency in additional languages besides English is a plus
- Regular and reliable attendance
