About the role

  • Leads, with some oversight, the development and production of proposals/qualifications packages, including scheduling and conducting proposal kick-off meetings, progress meetings, and color team reviews.
  • Reads and analyzes RFPs, RFIs, SOQs, and other client proposal/qualifications requests to understand compliance requirements and submittal instructions.
  • Creates/maintains proposal outlines and preparation schedule in accordance with RFP compliance requirements.
  • Gathers, compiles, and edits proposal materials in conjunction with technical leaders and proposal-specific subject matter experts.
  • Formats proposal documents for readability and according to RFP compliance requirements.
  • Creates other marketing collateral as required: client brochures, slide decks, cutsheets, etc.

Requirements

  • 1+ years’ experience in marketing in the A/E/C industry, or equivalent.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
  • Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe InDesign and other products in the Adobe Creative Cloud highly preferred.
  • Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint a plus.
  • Ability to interpret complex technical information and communicate it effectively to non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent people skills with an ability to develop relationships quickly with team members, internal clients, business leaders, and other key individuals who participate in the proposal process.
  • Highly organized with an ability to multi-task and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality.
  • Deadline driven and an ability to meet rigid timeframes for deliverables.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to engage in new technologies to improve efficiencies and quality
