About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Overall responsibility for production in Hammamet
Ensure a production process that meets standards for quality, cost, delivery performance and efficiency
Accountability for achieving defined KPIs
Implement and enforce global standards, processes and policies
Disciplinary and technical leadership of the local production organization
Establish, develop and train local managers and staff
Capacity and workforce planning in coordination with HR and relevant departments
Implement personnel measures (performance reviews, organizational changes, etc.)
Further develop the production strategy in Tunisia in alignment with the business unit management and the Managing Director Tunisia
Plan and implement improvement, restructuring and efficiency programs
Create sustainable structures and processes to ensure long-term competitive production
Support site development
Close collaboration with key departments (Operations, Supply Chain, Sales)

Requirements

What you’ll need

University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production/Manufacturing, Electronics, or a related engineering field
At least 8–10+ years' experience in production/manufacturing, including leadership roles
Proven experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment
Strong experience leading large production teams and complex organizations
Well-developed and demonstrable leadership skills
Experience working in matrix organizations and international environments
Experience in the automotive industry is an advantage
Strong Lean management experience
Experience implementing and developing KPIs
Strong stakeholder management skills across cultures and organizational levels
Fluent in English (required)
Fluent in Arabic (required); French is a plus.
