About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Complete all service requests in the assigned territory
  • Perform field repairs, glass replacements, operational adjustments, and repairs
  • Conduct field evaluations and inspections
  • Document work performed for each service call
  • Review daily appointments with the Service Scheduler for efficient routing
  • Confirm appointments with customers before arrival
  • Provide feedback on complete and incomplete service requests
  • Document requirements for follow-up appointments
  • Provide technical feedback on product performance and deficiencies
  • Document operational and design deficiencies gathered in the field
  • Recommend product modifications
  • Operate the company vehicle courteously and safely
  • Maintain parts inventory in the assigned service vehicle
  • Monitor and restock parts and materials
  • Communicate with dealers about service issue status and liaise with Insulate and end users

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1–2 years of general construction or building material installation experience preferred
  • 1–2 years of fenestration manufacturing or installation experience preferred
  • Knowledge of different window types and how to repair or replace them
  • Familiarity with glass cutters, drills, sealants, pry bars, caulk guns, and power tools
  • Knowledge of window materials including wood, vinyl, aluminum, and glass types
  • Good written skills
  • Basic computer and CRM systems use required
  • Ability to climb ladders and lift up to 35 pounds regularly
  • Physical fitness, comfort with heights, and good hand-eye coordination
  • Awareness of safety protocols for glass handling, working at heights, and protective equipment
  • Understanding of building codes and regulations for window installation and repairs
  • Ability to operate a company vehicle safely and within local laws
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
