About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build, lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing System Validation team
  • Develop software validation plans and strategies based on functional requirements
  • Define and oversee validation activities across the software development lifecycle
  • Conduct manual exploratory testing and develop automated regression test suites
  • Design, develop, maintain, and enhance automated test frameworks and validation infrastructure
  • Configure and maintain continuous integration systems
  • Monitor test results and drive timely triage of validation failures
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across system, network, hardware, and software layers
  • Establish validation processes, metrics, dashboards, and reporting
  • Document validation plans, test procedures, execution results, and release readiness
  • Partner with hardware, firmware, software, and product engineering teams to resolve defects
  • Drive continuous improvements in validation methodologies, automation, tooling, and best practices
  • Support product qualification efforts, customer deployments, and product releases

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience leading technical teams responsible for validation and qualification of complex networking, distributed systems, or comparable hardware and software platforms
  • Demonstrated success building and scaling a system validation organization, including defining processes, automation strategies, tooling, and quality metrics
  • Strong understanding of software validation methodologies, test automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and defect management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across engineering organizations and present status, risks, and metrics to executive leadership
  • Proven ability to leverage AI technologies for AI-assisted development, intelligent automation, and data-driven analytics
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline
  • Prior networking experience, such as Omni-Path, InfiniBand, or Ethernet
  • Prior Linux system administration and troubleshooting experience
  • Familiarity with testing distributed systems and routing/switching concepts
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary engineering environment
