About the role
- Design, build, and maintain core platform services and self-service tools.
- Lead technical initiatives to improve automation, observability, and scalability.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code.
- Leverage Infrastructure as Code to produce scalable, consistent infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for reliability, security, and cost efficiency.
- Partner with development teams to improve developer experience and accelerate delivery.
- Contribute to the platform roadmap and provide input into strategy and priorities.
- Work to develop and maintain Service Catalogs / Portals to promote the discovery and self-service for available tooling and service.
Requirements
- 7–10 years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, or platform engineering
- Strong expertise with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration
- Deep experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Pulumi, or similar)
- Strong experience with Observability/Telemetry platforms to provide insight into both Infrastructure and Workloads
- Strong Scripting Experience (Python Preferred)
- Expertise with tools such as SonarQube, LaunchDarkly, and Backstage
- Expert understanding of observability, automation, and reliability practices
- Experience improving developer productivity and delivery pipelines
- Experience with Microservice Development and Support
- Strong communication skills for cross-team collaboration
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
