About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and operate the enterprise network while making its state visible and measurable
Own runbooks and act as the engineering interface to our NOC
Shape our remote access and VPN services
Lead design and evolution of remote access and VPN services across ZTNA, SDP, SSL VPN, and client based approaches
Design, deploy, and operate the enterprise network across offices, data centers, and remote sites
Lead and participate in design reviews, partnering with Security, SRE, and IT to keep compliance and audit requirements built in
Act as an escalation point for complex incidents and coach less experienced engineers through pairing, reviews, and documentation

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years of network engineering experience in large scale or rapidly growing environments
Hands on experience designing and operating enterprise networks across offices, data centers, and remote sites
Experience leading VPN and remote access design across ZTNA, SDP, SSL VPN, or client based solutions
Working knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, NAT, VPNs, and firewalling
Experience building network monitoring, telemetry, dashboards, and alerting
Experience authoring runbooks used by NOC or operations teams
Troubleshooting experience across Layers 2 through 7
