About the role

  • Respond to customer trouble tickets or emails
  • Provide remote diagnostics and corrective action
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues

Requirements

  • 1-2 years' experience in a customer oriented support environment
  • Respond to customer trouble tickets or emails
  • Provide remote diagnostics
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software
  • Perform repairs to hardware to resolve defects
  • Knowledge of protocols for all equipment
  • Extensive user desktop support experience with Windows XP through Windows 7
  • Troubleshoot local PC connectivity issues
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • MacOS experience a strong plus
  • Support Windows Active Directory networks 2003/2008
  • Troubleshoot various connectivity issues from the PC to a server or the internet
  • Expertise in MS Office/Outlook 2003, 2007, 2010, 2011 for Mac
  • Expertise in MS Windows, XP, Vista, 7
  • Basic Knowledge of Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2008 R2
  • Basic Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, Local & Roaming User Profiles
  • Basic Knowledge of DHCP, DNS, Active Sync
  • Basic Knowledge of Citrix & Terminal Services
  • Basic Knowledge of Network Printing & Multi-Function Devices
  • Basic Knowledge of Corporate antivirus/antimalware
  • Knowledge of Disk imaging and recovery products
  • Knowledge of Mobile Devices (Android, Apple, Blackberry)
  • Knowledge of Apple, Dell, HP, Lenovo products
  • Knowledge of VPN Clients (Cisco, Sonicwall)
