About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Teach a minimum of two CorePower Yoga classes per week for a minimum of 4 hours in studio
- Educate students on alignment, offer posture modifications, and use CPY cueing formulas
- Arrive 30 minutes before and remain 30 minutes after each class to read communications, plan classes, and connect with the student community
- Support students’ personal growth, studio growth, and current CPY initiatives
- Welcome students, check them into class, navigate POS transactions, process front desk duties, and ensure a memorable experience
- Perform assigned cleaning tasks according to CPY Smart Health Protocol standards
- Foster a supportive studio environment and positive working relationships
- Act as an in-studio ambassador for CPY initiatives and business streams, including memberships, programming, lifestyle programs, and retail
Requirements
What you’ll need- Certificate of completion from a 200-hour yoga teacher training with additional continuing education, depending on format and training date
- Current CPR/AED certification required
- High School diploma preferred
- Excellent oral communication skills, professionalism, and strong interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in computer applications
- Ability to lead students in physical activity for up to 1.5 hours at a time
- Ability to withstand exposure to heat up to 104 degrees for at least 60 minutes in heated classes
- Assigned a home studio and supporting studio(s) for teaching, subbing, feedback, communications, and community growth
- Ability to move around the studio, crouch, bend, reach, and lift up to 25 lbs
