About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Establish and maintain consistent supplier management across the business.
Improve how Core manages its external vendors, ensuring value maximization, risk minimization, and compliance with internal standards and ISO 27001:2022.
Work cross-functionally with Operations, Security & Compliance, Finance, and ELT.
Build strong supplier relationships while promoting consistency and governance across the supplier ecosystem.
Implement and maintain a centralised supplier repository.
Own and maintain supplier-related ISO 27001:2022 controls for audit readiness and compliance.
Build collaborative relationships with suppliers and act as primary contact for supplier-related matters.
Initiate contract negotiations and manage supplier agreements.
Define and track supplier performance metrics and conduct regular service reviews.
Identify, assess, and mitigate supplier-related risks while ensuring compliance with requirements.
Manage onboarding processes for new suppliers and integrate them into internal systems.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and commercial value optimization.
Improve and standardise supplier management processes across Core.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven experience in vendor, supplier, or procurement management.
Experience working within or alongside ISO 27001 / information security frameworks (highly desirable).
Ability to manage multiple suppliers and priorities effectively.
Understanding of contract negotiation and commercial terms.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Analytical mindset with a focus on risk, compliance, and value.
Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
