About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Apply civil engineering concepts to develop solutions to project challenges.
  • Preparation of construction plans, cost estimates, reports, and other project documents.
  • Coordination with review agencies, clients, and sub-consultants for permit application.
  • Preparation of grading plans, profiles, road design, and details using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Research regulatory requirements and design standards.
  • Perform detailed and complex calculations for storm water facilities, utility systems, and roadway improvements.
  • Preparation of detailed technical reports and project presentation materials.
  • Assist project engineers in completing projects in a timely manner and within project budgets.
  • Attend project meetings.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 1-5+ years of experience in site development design.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with or willingness to learn AutoCAD Civil 3D for site development.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office.
  • A desire and/or ability to work in teams to accomplish shared goals.
  • Self-motivated with the ability and desire to deliver excellent client service.
