Engineer

• Lead a refrigeration design team and manage engineering projects from conception through completion.
• Leverage expertise in refrigeration and controls design, construction, and installation to deliver high-quality, code-compliant solutions.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and structural engineers, architects, and construction project managers.
• Produce, coordinate, and quality control refrigeration engineering construction documents ensuring alignment with client requirements, code compliance, and site-specific adaptations.
• Conduct site investigations and prepare reports with findings and recommendations.
• Produce design plans, calculations, and reports with limited direction.
• Coordinate with sub-consultants and multi-discipline team members and interact directly with clients providing support and technical guidance.
• Develop and manage phase- and task-level budgets and schedules; plan, assign, and supervise production staff.
• Coordinate responses to addenda, RFIs, and change orders; assist with proposals and scope development for new projects.
• Maintain organized project files and documentation; ensure constructability and technical accuracy of design deliverables.
• Apply knowledge of liability issues and risk management in design decisions; provide mentorship, training, and technical leadership for refrigeration staff.
• Travel expected a couple of times a month for on-site survey visits.
