About the role
- Lead client communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with client expectations and project goals.
- Understand contracted scope of work and identify project scope changes and communicate accordingly with Client.
- Initiate and finalize internal scope and fee pricing exercises.
- Evaluate and provide overall fees and financial metrics for Director approval.
- Create client proposals inclusive of all disciplines and issue to Client
- Lead and oversee the work of multi-disciplined project teams from design development through contract documents, ensuring quality, budget adherence, and schedule compliance.
- Drive internal coordination, establish QA/QC milestones, and confirm deliverables meet quality standards.
- Coordinate permitting approval processes and ensure timely submissions.
- Monitor and manage project budgets, including both planned hours versus actual (job-to-date) hours and overall financial results.
- Maintain full accountability for project financial performance, including cost control, revenue recognition, compensation analysis, and pursuit of additional services.
- Maintain accurate financial data and forecasting including monthly projections utilizing internal tools.
- Ensure timely and accurate revenue updates utilizing internal tools and validate financial health of projects.
- Collaborate with and guide internal team in gathering reports and data for financial and project status analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Electrical Engineering
- 10+ years of combined production and management experience with general building Electrical production, preferably with commercial projects such as retail or restaurant.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project and other project management software.
- P.E. preferred
- Technical Skills: AutoCAD and MS Office required, Revit a plus
- Demonstrate a practical and functional knowledge of regional code requirements
