About the role

  • Drive successful clinical quality, throughput efficiency, and patient engagement of emergency, hospitalist, and critical care service lines
  • Partner with Medical Directors, Core administrators, and hospital leadership in identifying areas of improvement initiatives and enhanced clinical programs
  • Develop and promote environments where physicians, APPs, and hospital care teams thrive
  • Track performance, and work in collaboration with Medical Directors to influence change
  • Spearhead selected program improvement initiatives utilizing process improvement techniques, Lean, and Six Sigma
  • Deliver and develop evidence-based practice, internal processes, standardized work plans, action plans, project timelines, KPI boards, dashboards, huddle boards, educational tools, and project management tools
  • Conduct continuous development, analysis and monitoring of key performance metrics both provided by the hospital(s) and located within the Core Analytics data warehouse
  • Compile and build performance data for presentations to hospital and system-level leadership
  • Participate in regular meetings with hospital C-suite executives to present performance data; and discuss areas for ongoing sustainment or opportunities for improvement
  • Attend provider meetings with appropriate frequency
  • Travel to client sites for meetings, information gathering, rollouts, and improvement efforts
  • Serve as a liaison between Core Clinical Partners and the hospital system(s)
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Science or related field
  • Degree in healthcare related field preferred
  • Advanced degree preferred
  • RN license preferred
  • Experience supporting healthcare key performance indicators
  • Experience leading process improvement activities
  • Experience with lean methodologies preferred
  • Experience utilizing MS Office and business-related technology
  • Knowledge of hospital key performance indicators for emergency medicine, hospitalist medicine, and critical care service lines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to clearly articulate objectives and present to hospital executives, physicians, and stakeholders
  • Ability to analyze information to make data driven assessments and recommendations
  • Keen emotional intelligence with ability to influence decisions
  • Strong relationship skills and ability to build and maintain trust with professionals internal and external to the company
  • Utilize independent judgment on determining areas of collaboration, escalation, and autonomy
  • Ability to navigate competing priorities and effectively work in a fast-paced environment
  • Exhibit growth mindset and team-orientated behaviors
  • Ability and willingness to travel to client sites for meetings, information gathering, rollouts, and improvement efforts
