Marketing Manager – Strategic Events
Core BTSMarketing Manager responsible for 20–25 regional events and 4 corporate events annually. Focus on operational excellence and measurable ROI to strengthen the NRI brand.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for planning, standardizing, and executing a scalable portfolio of high-impact events
- Owns the strategy and execution for approximately 20–25 regional field events and 4 corporate marquee events annually
- Focus on operational excellence, repeatable frameworks, and measurable ROI
- Shift NRI from event volume to event effectiveness by building consistent processes, toolkits, and measurement models
- Ensure each event has clear goals, target audiences, messaging, and post-event follow-up plans
- Partner closely with Sales, SDR, Partners, and Leadership to align on objectives, audiences, and outcomes
- Develop and manage event budgets, forecasts, and spend tracking across the annual portfolio
- Research, negotiate, and manage contracts with venues, production vendors, and third-party providers
- Optimize vendor relationships to support scalability, cost efficiency, and quality
- Maintain high standards for attendee experience while reducing bespoke, one-off approaches
- Define and track event success metrics including attendance, engagement, pipeline influence, and ROI
- Lead structured post-event debriefs and reporting to capture insights and drive continuous improvement
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Event Management, or a related field
- 5–7 years of experience in B2B marketing events, field marketing, or integrated marketing roles
- Proven ability to standardize and scale event programs across multiple regions
- Strong project management, budgeting, and vendor negotiation skills
- Experience partnering cross-functionally with sales and marketing teams
- Data-driven mindset with experience measuring event performance and ROI
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Experience supporting regional field marketing teams in a B2B environment
- Experience with marketing automation tools (e.g., Marketo) and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce)
- Familiarity with virtual and hybrid event execution
- Experience building event playbooks, templates, or centers of excellence
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams
