About the role

  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and success while tracking individual and team performance to meet growth targets.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that balances new customer acquisition and account expansion, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Drive proactive prospecting, outbound campaigns, and networking to generate and manage a robust pipeline of qualified leads and new business opportunities.
  • Oversee strategies to deepen client relationships, maximize customer lifetime value, and drive upsell/cross-sell opportunities while ensuring long-term satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Lead the entire sales cycle, ensuring effective deal management, tailored proposals, and strategic negotiations that support company revenue goals.
  • Own sales forecasting for both new and existing business, providing accurate revenue projections and adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities, including untapped regions, industries, and verticals, positioning the company as a trusted partner.
  • Continuously improve sales processes, implement best practices, and ensure the team has the right tools, training, and resources to succeed.
  • Partner with leadership to align sales efforts with overall company objectives and provide insights into market trends and competitive activity.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of sales experience, including 5+ years in leadership roles, with a focus on new business development and existing account growth in a SaaS environment.
  • Must have experience in one of our core verticals: EdTech, Commerce, Regulations & Compliance, or Industrials.
  • Proven track record of achieving revenue targets across both new customer acquisition and account expansion strategies.
  • Experience in private equity-backed or high-growth, fast-paced environments, demonstrating the ability to drive success in dynamic settings.
  • Strong leadership capabilities, with the ability to inspire, manage, and scale a sales team to meet diverse revenue goals.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and sales enablement platforms, ensuring data-driven decision-making and pipeline management.
  • Bachelor’s degree, MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.
