About the role

  • Assess and map target health system dynamics
  • Build standing relationships with system stakeholders, maintaining consistent engagement frequency
  • Share learnings and progress with Corcept collaborators to expand best practices
  • Conduct educational programs with key departments and stakeholders
  • Engage at institutional conferences, medical society meetings, and grand rounds
  • Expand awareness and adoption through coordinated team collaboration
  • Identify key stakeholders to create and champion system change (protocols, electronic medical record (EMR) flags, decision support tools)
  • Align departments involved in multidisciplinary patient identification and care
  • Drive post-protocol adoption with continued system-wide education to foster long-term behavior change
  • Develop and refine Korlym positioning within target healthcare systems to highlight its role in hypercortisolism management
  • Support system access through approved educational initiatives
  • Leverage team collaboration to maximize reach and impact of Korlym-related education
  • Transfer HCPs interested in prescribing Korlym to CS (via compliant channels)
  • Collaborate with Clinical Specialists (CSs), Thought Leader Liaisons (TLLs), and Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) during KOL engagement and system educational projects
  • Triage identified research interests and advanced clinical inquiries to the Medical Affairs team
  • Regularly communicate system strategy, insights, and updates to all relevant Corcept partners

Requirements

  • Experience working in target healthcare systems with a specialty in endocrinology, cardiology, diabetology, orphan disease, or other specialized markets
  • Proven success engaging with regional- and national-level KOLs to influence institutional practices
  • Demonstrated ability to establish or influence protocol adoption (e.g., care pathways, EMR flags, screening protocols)
  • Excellent communication skills (written, oral, and presentation), with the ability to engage multidisciplinary stakeholders
  • Strong clinical acumen and patient-focused mindset
  • Required to travel by car and plane at least 80% of the time
  • Must maintain a driving record in accordance with Corcept vehicle policy
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
  • 5+ years of pharmaceutical or medical device sales experience (preferred)
  • 2+ years working directly with institutions, preferably with experience introducing or supporting clinical protocol adoption (preferred)
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
