About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as the senior Subject Matter Expert and technical lead for GPO operations, Managed AR processes, and Procurement workflows.
Lead hands-on design and development of end-to-end solutions leveraging .NET (C#), Python, Microservices architecture, and event-driven systems using Kafka.
Architect and implement scalable data pipelines using Spark, SSIS, and AWS services (e.g., S3, Glue, Lambda, EMR, Redshift, etc.).
Design, develop, and optimize reporting and analytics solutions using SSRS, Lightdash, and modern BI tools.
Build and maintain robust, high-performance data models and data warehouses to support advanced analytics and business intelligence.
Translate complex procurement and AR business requirements into scalable technical solutions and personally contribute to coding, implementation, and delivery.
Lead technical workstreams involving microservices development, real-time data streaming (Kafka), batch and big data processing (Spark), and cloud-native architectures on AWS.
Drive performance optimization, scalability, and reliability across applications and data platforms.
Troubleshoot complex issues spanning application, data, integration, and cloud layers.
Mentor and guide development teams on best practices in .NET, Python, Microservices, Kafka, Spark, and AWS cloud solutions.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven track record of leading and delivering complex, high-scale technical solutions in a senior hands-on capacity
Advanced expertise in data modeling, data warehousing, ETL/ELT patterns, and analytics solution development
Deep domain expertise in Procurement, Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO), and/or Managed Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
Strong hands-on experience with the following technologies:
.NET / C# development and Microservices architecture
Python for data engineering and automation
Kafka for event streaming and real-time processing
Spark for big data processing
AWS cloud platform (multiple services)
SSIS (ETL development) and SSRS (Reporting)
Lightdash or equivalent modern analytics/BI tools
**It’s great if you also have:**
A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
Previous experience in a GPO, healthcare supply chain, or procurement services organization.
Strong knowledge of procurement cycles, supplier management, contract management, and AR automation.
Experience designing and implementing cloud-native, event-driven architectures.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
Track record of delivering solutions in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
