About the role
- Manage collections across a portfolio of high-volume commercial accounts
- Analyze billing, EDI, pricing, and payment issues
- Negotiate resolution of collection matters directly with customers
- Present portfolio performance and risk assessments to C-level stakeholders
- Partner closely with Sales, Customer Support, AR, Credit, Cash Application, and Disputes teams
- Identify drivers of delinquency trends and operational measurement changes
- Oversee customer credit reviews, account holds, and external collections agency referrals
- Design and improve operational processes across the AR, Disputes, Credit, Systems, and Cash Application groups
- Prepare clear, concise management reporting
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial B2B credit and collections
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- A collaborative, client-service mindset
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop collections professionals
- Comfort managing multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Intermediate-to-advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and beyond)
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (Nice to have)
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Nice to have)
- AI is ontop of mind to help you do your job better (Nice to have)
- Experience managing a global workforce (Nice to have)
