Key responsibilities & impact
  • Champion Culture & Values
  • Partner with leadership to align policies and practices with organizational values
  • Draft and send employee newsletter on a monthly basis
  • Regularly post company updates and announcements in Slack
  • Drive engagement initiatives across the organization
  • Own the full recruitment cycle: sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer, and onboarding
  • Design innovative sourcing strategies to attract top talent
  • Partner with hiring managers to define staffing needs and develop effective hiring plans
  • Serve as a trusted resource for employees on HR policies, procedures, and benefits
  • Implement programs that measure and enhance satisfaction, retention, and professional growth
  • Facilitate smooth new-hire onboarding
  • Conduct 90-day checkpoints and satisfaction surveys
  • Maintain compliance champion that understands and anticipates the needs of a constantly evolving remote environment
  • Own annual compliance requirements for training
  • Maintain accurate employee data in BambooHR and ADP Workforce Now

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or equivalent experience
  • Proven HR or recruiting experience
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong working knowledge of employment law and HR practices
  • Demonstrated commitment to DE&I
  • High discretion with sensitive and confidential information
  • Continuous improvement mindset; resilience to learn from setbacks
  • Experience working in a startup environment
  • Ability to work independently in our remote environment
