About the role
- Provide comprehensive consultancy to clients and internal teams, advising on legal requirements at the federal, state and municipal levels.
- Develop and lead tax recovery projects, tax classifications and detailed accounting analyses.
- Review product tax classification to ensure correct legal application and tax optimization.
- Provide support during tax audits, receiving notices, gathering documentation and preparing defenses.
- Participate in strategic client meetings to align obligations and discuss efficient solutions.
- Perform digital audits to identify errors and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare highly complex reports and technical opinions.
- Stay continuously updated on legislation, preparing informational bulletins.
- Provide periodic technical training to teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (completed).
- Strong knowledge of accounting legislation (federal, state and municipal).
- Proven experience in tax recovery.
- Proficiency in detailed analysis of accounting statements.
- Proficiency with ancillary tax filings.
- Preparation of management reports.
- Analysis of financial statements.
- Experience in supporting and attending audits.
