Support and develop engineering managers and team leads across iOS, Web, and Backend. Set clear goals, ensure strong execution, and build a high-performing, collaborative team.
Drive the adoption of AI-native engineering workflows (like Claude Code, GitHub Copilot or Cursor) to amplify the team's output while maintaining strict standards for code quality and architectural integrity.
Help scale our engineering processes, including cycle planning, prioritization, hiring, and internal communication.
Partner with Product, Design, and Operations teams to align on company goals and ensure efficient, transparent roadmapping and delivery.
Work closely with our CTO and Staff Engineers to shape and refine our technical strategy, architecture, and platform investments.
Champion a strong engineering culture rooted in trust, inclusion, and autonomy, where AI is used to automate repetitive tasks, allowing our engineers to focus on complex problem solving and technical excellence.

Requirements

10+ years of experience in Software Engineering, with around 4 years in a leadership or management role.
Proven experience managing cross-functional and multi-location teams.
Background in consumer product development, preferably in high-scale mobile or fintech apps.
Deep understanding of software development best practices across frontend and backend, with a clear perspective on how to maintain engineering rigor and expert oversight in an AI-accelerated environment.
Passion for building simple, elegant solutions to complex technical and human challenges.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Based in New York City or able to commute to our NYC office at least twice a week.
