About the role
- Provide leadership to our North American HVACR distribution network
- Direct responsibility for multiple distribution centers and logistics
- Strategic leadership for Copeland’s overall distribution footprint
- Ensure operational excellence, drive efficiency, and maintain high service levels for customers while aligning with corporate objectives
- Develop and execute the business unit distribution strategy in alignment with company objectives
- Accountable for logistics, fulfillment, and transportation performance by leading through multiple site leaders
- Implement best practices and process improvements to enhance service delivery and operational productivity
- Manage and develop relationships with third-party suppliers and customers
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards
- Support the VP in long-term strategic planning and expansion initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- minimum of ten (10) years of progressive related experience, including leadership, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and professional presentation skills
- Ability to work effectively with various levels of the organization
- Exceptional customer service focus, including attention to producing quality results
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and on a team
- Legal authorization to work in the United States – Sponsorship will not be provided for this role
- Ability to travel 25% of the time
