About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 5 sales professionals.
- Set clear priorities and ensure consistent execution of the sales strategy.
- Drive performance through structured pipeline management and disciplined opportunity tracking.
- Support the team in complex customer situations, technical discussions, and negotiations.
- Monitor and review individual and team performance against targets and KPIs.
- Ensure strong coverage of key accounts and strategic customers across the region.
- Develop team capability and actively support career growth and succession planning.
- Collaborate closely with Segment Leadership to execute regional and global strategies.
- Drive disciplined use of Salesforce and ensure high forecasting accuracy.
- Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and collaboration.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience leading technical sales teams or application-oriented sales teams.
- Strong background in refrigeration compression, drives, or closely related technologies.
- Solid understanding of OEM environments and the food retail refrigeration market.
- Technical education or background (mechanical, electrical, or similar discipline).
- Experience with solution selling across compressors, drives, and control systems.
- Strong commercial mindset with a track record of driving revenue growth.
- Leadership experience with clear people management responsibility (typically 5–10 years relevant experience).
- Experience working with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and structured forecasting processes.
- Open industry exposure; HVAC experience is not essential (automotive or adjacent industries also considered).
