About the role

  • Develop commodity strategies for Capital projects
  • Manage category strategies across all Copeland locations globally
  • Control costs and identifying new savings opportunities
  • Ensure supplier performance and align procurement activities with business objectives
  • Champion company values and promote a strong safety culture
  • Lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives including e-sourcing, RFI, RFP, RFQ and negotiation strategies
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to support capital procurement
  • Track and report on sourcing pipeline and savings initiatives
  • Manage supplier contracts and conduct regular performance reviews
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and relevant legal, ethical and risk requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experiences in lieu of the degree
  • 7+ years of experience in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations or related areas
  • Experience acquiring capital assets and developing OEM and Integration suppliers
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence others to achieve objectives
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing supply chain strategies that drive operational excellence
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract law, supplier relationship management and supply chain technologies
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and professional presentation skills
  • Ability to travel to Copeland locations/suppliers domestically and globally occasionally
