About the role

  • Receive, analyze and validate OPME authorization forms and requests, verifying technical suitability, contractual compliance and clinical relevance.
  • Liaise with providers for clarifications, adjustments and technical negotiations when necessary.
  • Support the Medical Audit team in preparing technical analyses and decision-making.
  • Manage response deadlines to providers and organize the material release workflow.
  • Monitor utilization patterns, support process improvements and maintain updated records and reference tables.
  • Provide technical information to internal departments and ensure adherence to institutional policies.
  • Monitor OPME-related indicators and propose workflow adjustments when appropriate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Pharmacy or related fields.
  • Experience in analyzing, validating and authorizing OPME requests, including technical and contractual review.
  • Knowledge of regulation processes and supplementary health regulations applicable to OPME.
  • Strong analytical skills, good communication, organizational ability and a proactive attitude.
  • Experience interacting with providers, suppliers and internal teams for technical discussions.
  • Familiarity with major tables and reference sources used for OPME (CBHPM, Brasíndice, Simpro, TUSS/ANS).
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (emphasis on Excel).
  • Familiarity with health management systems and authorization workflows.
