About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Actively participate in meetings with sectoral entities, stakeholders from the Executive and Legislative branches, and regulatory agencies at all levels (federal, state and municipal), leading agendas of varying complexity previously aligned with management, and reporting insights, opportunities and recommendations;
  • Assess bills, regulations and public policies, identifying risks, impacts and strategic opportunities, and translating them into critical analyses and recommendations for coordination and management to support institutional decisions;
  • Provide in-depth analyses, strategic insights and recommendations that guide stakeholder engagement plans, contributing to the development of consistent positions aligned with corporate objectives;
  • Prepare detailed scenarios, reports and presentations that support leadership, aiding strategic interactions and strengthening the company's institutional presence;
  • Ensure that all institutional initiatives and positions are aligned with internal policies, regulatory standards and compliance principles, reviewing critical documents and processes and advising leadership on strategic decisions.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Economics, Social Communication, International Relations, Political Science, Public Administration or related fields;
  • English – Level: Advanced;
  • Spanish – Level: Basic;
  • Thorough understanding of the functioning of public administration and legislative and regulatory processes at all levels (federal, state and municipal);
  • Ability to interpret complex political scenarios and translate risks and opportunities into actionable inputs for coordination and management;
  • Experience in institutional engagement and representing the company in forums, associations and meetings with public stakeholders;
  • Experience in industry associations or public affairs consultancies;
  • Ability to produce, validate and refine strategic materials (technical notes*, position papers*, executive reports, *briefings*);
  • Political and institutional networking and clear, confident and persuasive communication (oral and written);
  • Analytical ability and critical thinking;
  • Ability to mentor and support the development of mid-level and junior team members;
  • Ethics, integrity and adherence to compliance policies in interactions with stakeholders;
  • Postgraduate degree in Government Relations, Regulatory Law, Public Policy, Business Management or Institutional Communication;
  • Previous experience in regulated-sector companies (energy, oil and gas, infrastructure, telecommunications, healthcare, among others);
  • Deep knowledge of public policy and comparative regulatory analysis (international benchmarking);
  • Advanced knowledge of regulatory, administrative and constitutional law;
  • Systemic view of business and sector regulation;
  • Negotiation skills in complex environments;
  • Resilience and adaptability in uncertain scenarios.
