About the role
- Identify, implement and ensure the most appropriate payment/collection methods according to product types, client size, geographic characteristics and available banking services.
- Ensure the implementation and compliance of procedures for monitoring, controlling and recording the Company's Accounts Receivable portfolio, with emphasis on collections across all business areas.
- Ensure the implementation, compliance and periodic reassessment of credit and collection policies and procedures for monitoring, controlling and recording the granting of customer credit limits and the Company's accounts receivable portfolio.
- Issue opinions and/or decide on credit approval requests.
- Coordinate customer delinquency management from debt renegotiation to promoting legal collection actions, in integration with the commercial area and within established procedures and authorities.
- Decide on the release of customer orders with overdue balances.
- Decide on proposals for debt installment plans, extensions and write-offs/assumption of customer receivables.
- Coordinate accounting closings, preparation of Provisions for Doubtful Accounts (PCLD) and other necessary entries, in integration with the accounting department and within established procedures and authorities.
- Maintain appropriate control and monitoring of receivables under litigation.
- Manage Accounts Receivable profiles (GRC) in the SAP R/3 system and guide financial system users.
- Ensure and guarantee the implementation of projects related to the centralization of Accounts Receivable and Credit activities across group companies, and provide support to the areas involved in this process.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree: Business Administration, Economics, Finance or related fields.
- Postgraduate / MBA: Financial Management.
- Experience in the area.
- Knowledge of Financial Mathematics.
- Knowledge of Accounting/Controllership.
- Knowledge of Project Management.
- Knowledge of integrated ERP systems (SAP).
- People management and team integration skills.
- Knowledge of legal matters.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Knowledge of Power BI.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
- Active CRA registration (Regional Administration Council).
