Backend Engineer

• Design, develop, test and debug backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Own features end to end across the software lifecycle: analysis, design, implementation, integration testing and quality assurance.
• Translate client requirements into working software — delivering enhancements, resolving defects, and questioning the requirement when something doesn't add up.
• Produce designs that are simple to change, so new requirements can be absorbed quickly and safely.
• Write and maintain automated tests (unit and integration) as a normal part of delivery, not an afterthought.
• Write clear technical documentation, design notes and user guides on Confluence.
• Review your colleagues' code, mentor less experienced engineers, and raise the quality bar of the team.
• Participate in daily, weekly and monthly team ceremonies and planning.

Senior Java Engineer

DevOps Engineer

• Automate application build processes through Azure DevOps and GitLab CI/CD pipelines
• Lead and manage CI/CD pipeline development to improve deployment speed, reliability, and quality
• Troubleshoot Applications and Infrastructure resources hosted in Google
• Design and Implement resilient Infrastructure as Code for the Cloud, using Automation Tools like Terraform, Bicep, Ansible
• Manage cloud-based infrastructure and services, focusing on efficiency and scalability
• Implement and support front-end web configurations using solutions such as Front Door, Application Gateway, WAF
• Automate deployment of Application Code using DevOps YAML pipelines
• Implement security best practices, including access controls, encryption, and vulnerability scanning, to protect company data and systems
• Work in an Agile environment to support individuals on proper DevOps practices
• Support development and data services teams in technical questions of continuous integration/continuous delivery, delivery organizations
• Provide technical support to development and data services teams regarding continuous integration and continuous delivery best practices and processes
• Mentor and support junior DevOps engineers, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration
