Payroll Assistant – temporary
Coople SwitzerlandPayroll Assistant managing payroll processing for external employees in Switzerland. Assisting with various payroll tasks and responsibilities in a modern HR-Tech environment.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist with the monthly payroll processing for our external employees in Switzerland
- AHV registrations and handling of family allowances
- Process absences due to illness, accident, military service, maternity and paternity leave
- Submit new hires, terminations and changes to the pension fund
- Withholding tax filings and invoice verification
- Handle and review wage garnishments, salary advances and retroactive payments
- Prepare employment references and certificates
- Support the preparation of wage statements and year-end closing tasks, and assist with audits
- Optimize work processes within the department
Requirements
What you’ll need- Commercial apprenticeship (EFZ) or equivalent education/experience
- Initial experience in an administrative role
- Strong numerical and statistical skills, IT affinity and very good Excel proficiency
- Quick comprehension and precise, detail-oriented working style
- Experience in payroll / wage administration / social insurance is an advantage
- Good to very good German language skills required
- Good French language skills are an advantage
