About the role
- Development, maintenance, deployment and optimization of the benefits system for collective pension schemes (pension fund)
- Participation in the transformation of the LEIKO product, contributing on both mainframe and modern platforms
- Optimization of DevOps capabilities, e.g. scaling batch jobs as well as automating and simplifying deployments, releases and operational processes
- Support for the migration from mainframe to cloud
- Operation and continuous further development of the application landscape based on the technology stack
- Active exchange within internal communities and collaboration with interconnected teams and stakeholders
- Independent work within an agile team and active contribution to team development
Requirements
- Several years of experience as a developer/engineer in complex, distributed system landscapes
- Hands-on experience with mainframe technologies such as DB2 and ideally GEN (Broadcom)
- Experience in transformation projects and in operating/advancing modern platforms with JBoss EAP on Linux, Java and SQL Server
- Know-how in DevOps environments (automation, deployments, releases, operations) and ideally experience with batch scaling
- Proactive, curious working style with the confidence to contribute ideas and drive product development
- Strong team and communication skills when working with stakeholders and interface teams
- Fluent in German
