About the role
- Ensure the stable, secure, and highly available operation of the CaaS platform (Kubernetes, OpenShift, AWS)
- Automate deployments, configurations, and operational processes using scripting and Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Ansible, Python)
- Integrate and operate CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery and improvement of cloud-native applications
- Monitoring and event management for proactive detection and remediation of incidents
- Incident and problem management within an ITIL-oriented operating model
- Implement changes and continuously optimize the platform in line with continual improvement
- Maintain and enhance technical documentation and knowledge management
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality, security, and scalability
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science (University/ETH/FH) or equivalent professional experience
- Kubernetes certifications (CKAD, CKA, CKS) are an advantage
- Several years of experience with cloud-native applications (Kubernetes, AWS, OpenShift)
- Proficient with technologies such as VMWare (vSphere), Git, RPM, Postfix
- Knowledge of scripting and automation (PowerShell, Bash, Ansible, Python, NETCONF/YANG)
- Experience with modern DevOps practices and CI/CD tools
- Familiarity with web technologies and APIs (JavaScript, HTML, REST APIs)
- Experience designing and operating highly available solutions
- Practical experience with agile methods (SAFe, SCRUM, DevOps)
- Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-oriented approach
- Business-fluent German and English
- Continuous residence in Switzerland for at least 5 years and a clean criminal record.
