About the role

  • Prelude is a nonprofit on a mission to launch students into purpose-filled lives that lead to economic freedom and partners with top companies and schools to deliver paid internships.
  • You’ll join Prelude as a Strategic Partnerships Associate (Contract) to expand the employer network, with high autonomy and impact.
  • Location: Remote USA; Compensation: $30-40 per hour; Reports to: Sarah Barrett.
  • Key Responsibilities: Identify and research high-potential employer prospects aligned with Prelude’s mission; Craft and send personalized outreach that sparks interest and opens doors; Build early relationships; Manage follow-ups, calendar coordination, and CRM updates; Support prospect calls with background research, notes, and relationship strategy; Map out new sectors and geographies; Maintain systems to track outreach and analyze conversion trends; Collaborate with Prelude’s senior team.

  • You’re a clear, compelling communicator (especially over email) and can quickly build credibility with new contacts

  • You bring strong strategic judgment and can craft thoughtful, persuasive narratives that open doors to partnership
