About the role

  • Main support for human resources activities for all employees and managers within the client group assigned.
  • Administer and execute HR programs including compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, disputes, investigations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, morale, occupational health and safety, and training and development.
  • Respond to escalated HR or personnel issues and conduct confidential investigations.
  • Coach managers regarding employee relations issues including performance improvement, development plans and progressive discipline.
  • Ensure organization follows regulatory requirements within the HR department and ensure compliance with Company policies and best practices.
  • Keep informed about current trends, practices, and developments and make recommendations for implementation.
  • Identify problems central to strategy and forecast potential obstacles; push for continuous improvements within manufacturing/distribution sites and HR department.
  • Implement new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
  • Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors; refer complex/sensitive matters as appropriate.
  • Attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Support workforce planning and talent management requirements for the assigned team/site.
  • Travel 20-30% to support multiple sites.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Human Resources in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in talent management initiatives including learning and development strategies, employee engagement and wellbeing programs.
  • Strong knowledge in Local Labor Legislation and positive employee relations practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing facilities preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
  • Ability to travel 20-30% as required.
