About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as a Support Analyst for Linux operating systems;
- Responsible for maintenance and updates of operating systems;
- Performance and capacity analysis;
- File systems, network services, load balancers, clusters/high availability and OpenLDAP;
- Responsible for maintaining and implementing IT services, collaborating with the technical team to contribute to the availability, integrity, capacity and optimal use of IT resources by meeting established service levels;
- Handle requests, resolve incidents and problems, and implement projects;
- Work on updating technological environments, monitoring the performance, accessibility and security of IT assets, including systems, infrastructure, software/hardware, datacenter and the corresponding information storage.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Essential:
- Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as Zabbix;
- Knowledge of Linux operating systems: disk management, networking and general configuration; performance analysis and troubleshooting;
- Experience with high-performance and high-availability solutions;
- Knowledge of the Web stack: Apache, PHP and Load Balancer (HAProxy or similar);
- Availability to work outside regular business hours, including weekends and holidays, for environment maintenance.
- Nice to have:
- Knowledge of microservices environments (containers);
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server® operating systems;
- Knowledge of ITIL;
- Knowledge of programming and scripting such as Perl and/or Python;
- Knowledge of APM tools such as Dynatrace;
- Experience with virtualization such as VMware.
