About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the development of the monitoring scope for risk models, based on mathematical and statistical methodologies;
Execute monitoring procedures for risk models (PD, LGD, EAD);
Assess the integrity of the data used in risk model monitoring;
Apply statistical tests to risk models;
Evaluate the adequacy of the rules and methodologies employed in model development in accordance with current regulations (Resolution 4.966/21);
Monitor the indicators and limits established to track model performance;
Prepare technical and executive reports on risk model performance;
Contribute to the team in developing solutions to improve controls and tools, and in automating operational tasks;
Ensure appropriate responses to internal and external audits and regulatory authorities;
Serve other departments and affiliated cooperatives, acting as a reference and providing technical guidance on key model monitoring indicators;
Share knowledge, promote a risk-aware culture and exchange experiences in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or related fields;
Experience in Statistics and Modeling;
Experience with Power BI;
Experience with Python and SQL;
Postgraduate degree or MBA in progress in related areas;
Knowledge of and experience with Resolution 4.966/21;
Experience working in a financial institution.
