About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure flawless execution of new program launches within the ISG business portfolio.
  • Ensure implementation and adherence to the Cooper Standard Launch Management System (CLauS).
  • Lead cross-functional teams comprised of engineering, program management, sales and manufacturing to achieve launch metrics.
  • Develop and manage launch dashboard for timely reporting.
  • Lead and oversee programs and projects assigned to his/her department.
  • Responsible for on-time execution of ClauS at plant level from equipment purchasing, installation, run-off and release for production.
  • Provide support during quoting process.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and meet customer expectations regarding costumer service, product quality, on-time delivery communications.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business, or a related technical discipline.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in automotive or industrial manufacturing with increasing responsibility in program management, launch management, manufacturing operations, or a combination of these areas.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel regularly between manufacturing facilities.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, APQP, PPAP, customer launch requirements, and cross-functional program execution.
  • Experience in automotive companies, preferably with launch experience.
  • Knowledge in IATF Quality System.
