Role: Design and architect scalable, reliable platforms; collaborate across engineering, data, and product; ensure cloud infrastructure, observability, and deployment pipelines operate seamlessly. Responsibilities: Provide technical leadership; manage Kubernetes & EKS; maintain IaC with Terraform; implement/manage CI/CD with GitLab; manage RDS Postgres and MySQL; design/manage event streaming (Kafka, Kinesis); implement infrastructure security; develop observability and monitoring.

Requirements

  • Experience with AWS and advanced multi-region cloud networking concepts. Strong Infrastructure as Code (IaC) knowledge and experience with Terraform. Extensive experience with containerization technologies such as Docker. Experience with Kubernetes and EKS to manage containerized applications at scale. Experience with database management and decentralized database migrations. Proficiency in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines to achieve efficient software delivery. Proficiency in Python, NodeJs, Golang and/or Bash. Excellent troubleshooting skills in production. Experience with GitOps principles and tools, such as ArgoCD. Experience with event streaming platforms, such as Kafka, in particular use of MSK in AWS environments. Knowledge of infrastructure security best practices and experience in implementing security measures.
