Warehouse Operator

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Operate forklift in safe manner.
- Interpret information contained on picking slip to locate stock and pick to fulfill customer orders.
- Unloading/loading of vehicles (either using forklift, lifting aides or manual handling) and movement of goods in and out of the warehouse.
- Maintain 100% accuracy when picking stock, and performing stock takes and cycle counts.
- Enter and update information in computer system.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and conduct daily safety checks.
- Report all incidents/accidents/near misses without delay.
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least two years experience in a similar position with reach forklift license and experience.
- Experience handling dangerous goods is highly desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
