Junior Transport Planner

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- planning international road transport to and from Portugal & Greece
- requesting quotes from carriers and charters, selecting the smartest routes and most cost-efficient solutions
- processing transport orders in ITMS (our transport system) and monitoring ongoing shipments
- maintaining regular contact with customers, drivers, and carriers
- handling administrative tasks and transport documentation (75% email communication, 25% phone communication)
- rotating the escalation phone, where you manage incidents outside office hours
Requirements
What you’ll need- no prior work experience in a similar role is required, you will receive intensive on-the-job training from your 5 colleagues
- you are sociable, eager to learn, and open to feedback
- strong geographical awareness, recognize logical patterns, and are confident with numbers
- you thrive in teamwork, perform well in a fast-paced environment, and communicate effectively in both Dutch (B2) and English
