Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, operation, compliance, and financial results for designated operation.
Acts as a primary customer interface for all leadership decisions regarding proposal approval and contract negotiations.
Overseeing local continuous improvement activities, LEAN practices, supply chain analysis, six sigma initiatives, and ISO activities.
Develops marketing plans and assists in growing new business.
Ensures that the operation adheres to the overall corporate mission, vision, and core values while consistently meeting client and company expectations.
Leads operations to meet prescribed productivity and service goals.
Communicates the mission, vision, and core values to motivate direct reports.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Bachelor’s degree is preferred
7 years’ experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment.
5 years’ experience in a leadership role in logistics/distribution/supply chain environment in operations management capacity
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Strong attention to detail accuracy and accomplish job task in a timely manner
Good organizational and personnel skills
Good communication skills, written and oral
Advanced level expertise required in accounting and financial mathematical applications as related to managing a P&L and preparing site/operation budgets
Must be fluent in English (reading, writing, verbal).
