Quality Assurance Assistant – 2nd Shift

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for coordinating safety and quality functions and assisting the Supervisor
- Ensures the warehouse is in compliance with safety and quality policies and principles
- Performs work involving the implementation of identified safety and training programs
- Responsible for maintaining the Document Control Center
- Support, documentation and follow up on Internal Audits and Corrective Actions
- Update visual aids, process instructions, quality procedures, corrective and preventive actions
- Generate and update control charts
- Participate in Continuous Improvement Projects
- Perform plant tours to detect compliance issues
- Manage/follow up aged material processes and excess inventory
- Coordinate cycle counts as required for Sync Report Analysis
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Ability to handle basic statistical control methods
- Must have previous Inventory experience
- Current or previous experience with Quality Management System
- Must possess excellent computer skills, not limited to MS Office, Windows, or Visio
- Basic to intermediate mathematical skills
- Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance
- Must be able to effectively adapt to change and thrive in a stimulating, fast-paced work environment.
